How to Make a Front Porch Christmas Tree 2016

Make a country-style look on the front porch this Christmas season with a few indoor/outdoor stuffs and some gifts from earth.

Stuffs You Needed:
One live or artificial Christmas tree and tree stand
Large basket (inside dimensions must be larger than the Christmas tree stand)
6-8 large stones or bricks
One roll of burlap garland (available at arts and crafts stores)
Two packages of plastic indoor/outdoor ornaments
48 small twigs
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
One package of wire ornament hooks
Select Basket
Select a basket that is extensive enough to fully surround the Christmas tree stand. It should be at least ten inches high, however not too much higher than the bottom branches of the tree.

Removed Lid:
If it is a lidded basket, remove the lid with a cable cutter.

Position Tree:
Place the Christmas tree & stand in the basket. Once it is in place, cover the stand with some big stones or bricks to ensure that it doesn’t ever topple over.

Add Garlands
Wind burlap garland around the full tree, from top to bottom.

Add Ornaments

Utilize ornament hooks to safe several plastic indoor/outdoor ornaments to the tree.

Add Twig Snowflakes
Make snowflake-shaped ornaments by hot-gluing four minor twigs together, spray-painting them white & attaching an ornament hook to the top of them with a dab of hot glue. Hang the snowflakes casually around the tree, & pinch the ornament hooks together around each tree branch to guarantee they don’t fall off.
